How I Lost Over 150lbs Without a Diet
My journey began when I was at the Veterans Hospital one day with my daughter when she was very young.
They asked me to step on the scale, and I could not use a regular scale, so I had to be weighed on the wheelchair scale.

I weighed 409 pounds.
My daughter asked me, why did you have to be weighed on the big scale?
I explained to her because I was too big to use the regular scale.

This was the moment I realized this is not good for my daughter, or my own health and welfare.

That very next day I vowed to lose weight, and after years of being very attentive to my eating and exercising habits, I am now down to 250 pounds.
My secret to success was to stop indulging every time. I still ate what I wanted, but I started being smarter about my choices and portion sizes.
That’s it. I believe that no one diet is perfect for everyone, and that a more balanced approach where you don’t indulge every time can be more effective overall.
